Digital Rights Management

It is a mandated "copyright protection" scheme to make sure that you can't use your fair-use rights of music that you have purchased. It also increases the amount of money going into the greedy coffers of the RIAA members WITHOUT having them to pay more to the artists. Of course, the RIAA is always looking for ways to grab more money so they've jumped on the idea of suing "violators", but only those financially incapable of fighting back.
