I'll take a stab at answering this one. You can only associate an
iPod with one Mac at a time, if you try to plug it into another one,
it's going to require you to erase the contents of the iPod. You can
turn on sharing between the 2 Macs with iTunes and you'll be able to
use each other's libraries of songs, but you won't be able to
actually copy anything that is on the other Mac. Two ways around
this are 1) copy the songs to CD and then put them on the other Mac
2) get an app called iPodRip (it's great)!
This is what has worked for me....others may have some better
suggestions.
