Well, Appleworks did come w/ my retail version of 10.3 on dvd!
Actually, no it didn't.
To reiterate: Appleworks HAS NEVER shipped with a retail version of
the OS. Your copy of Appleworks comes from the restore disc that came
with your machine, NOT the retail Panther DVD.
Appleworks IS included as part of the software package on consumer
Macs (iMac, iBook, Mac mini, eMac). It IS NOT included in a retail
copy of any of Apple's OS X packages.

Claiming that the Macintosh is inferior to Windows because most
people use Windows is like saying that all other restaurants are
inferior to McDonald's.
