I'm pretty sure when using GC's slide show ability, you can delete the 
original while in the slide show. There is a little trash can icon, and 
I'm 99% sure if you click it, the file currently being viewed is moved to 
the trash.

In the Browse Folder feature, I don't see anything to trash the file from 
the main window, but of you control click on the thumbnail, a rather 
extensive menu pops up and one of the options is to move the file to the 
trash. It may be possible to trash it via some easier method as well 
(such as hit the delete key)
