Remember a little trilogy of films called "Lord of the Rings" ?
they used ipods as DV storage extensively to carry the day's shoots to
the editing room

Be very wary of flash on ebay.
There is plenty of great deals, but if someone is selling an 8GB flash
for $1 chances are it is fake
(I know, sob sob)

dont buy anything that has a pic from the mfg site
make sure they will show a pic of the actual item

that is a big tell
