Not so sure about that because my brand new external firewire harddrive
froze and locked up after the latest apple software update via Software
update...?
i am a fanatic about doing the repair permisions, running DiskWarrior,
TechToolPro and even SuperDupering my drives ( which i am glad i
superdupered it before the update ).
