Hello Bonno, Unfortunately, you will not be able to continue using your, customized Web Messaging templates. You will be able to continue using your Web Calendaring and Scheduling but not the Web Messaging templates. In order to continue using the old (current) web messaging templates, you really would have to continue using IMail 8.2x.
As noted, the proprietary Ipswitch web server is no longer required as we'll support IIS initially and other web servers as necessary. By the way, the Web Calendaring and Schedule overhaul is scheduled for next year. Hope this helps and that the transition over to the new web messaging templates isn't too tedious. Put that star web developer to work;-) Bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Bonno Bloksma Sent: Tuesday, November 01, 2005 3:27 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Web Messaging... One question. We have rewritten the webinterface completely, it was one of the reasons we likes IMail when we bought it. Can we use the new version with the old interface or will we have to rewrite the complete interface first and then upgrade? Is the old webengine still incoporated and available for use if we want to or is it a mandator switch to the new IIS structure? Not that it is a big problem, we have a staf programming our own website in IIS so it's just a matter of assigning someone to do the rewrite. It's more a problem of coordinating the upgare with the rewite if that is needed.
