Agreed.  However they must be aware of Smartermail and its unlimited license is less than Imails current maintenance agreement. And its web interface looks better too!

We have been an Imail customer and very much would like to stay but if that choice is at a premium  that makes no sense they will continue to lose market share  - us for one for sure.  The golden days are over and Imail needs to understand the market and price accordingly  :).

We just had an price increase as a result
of the ICS fiasco which ran off several Imail customers. I sure hope
they don't step in it again and run more of us off to other
alternatives.

Price points will be announced in a month (can't really disclose

Bill,

I hope you are going to consider those of us who paid for, and have kept up
our service agreements for, unlimited licenses when you create your new
pricing structure!

If Ipswitch causes those of us who have been long-time customers, with
unlimited licensed versions, to fork over significantly more money to keep
the unlimited licensing, that will cause a whole new set of problems for us
and cause us to start re-thinking all of those other companies who's
products we downloaded evaluation versions of and have continued to monitor
during the last year and a half.
