Hi David,

The key here is the type of 'RFC 821 resonse code', if any, in the Imail logs.

If your Imail box isn't cool with another mail server (reverse lookup 
fails, finds not A or MX records, etc), the other mail server 'should' give 
a response code.

However, the infamous 'mx connect fail' means Imail just couldn't make a 
successful connection with the SMTP service at the ip address and port 25.

As always, the Imail logs are the key.
