I run Outlook Express 5.0x for the Mac and I do smtp auth no problem. But,
only with my host adminstrator account. The other accounts won't do
smtp-auth and I think it's a known problem when using an external database
(am I right?).
As mentioned in the above paragraph. All account except the host
administrator account will give me a "not a gateway" error. So I change the
authentication user and pass to my host admin account.
