OE 5? sure.

go under tools -> Accounts

Choose the account and at the bottom of the main screen where it says,
"Click here for advanced sending options" Under there is an option, "SMTP
server requires authentication." And then you can choose "Same settings as
incoming mail server" or "Login using..." and put in your info.
