Sorry, man, you've wrong footed yourself and your users.  Leave it 
for l'users, and get blacklisted = unhappy clients forever.

The Lone IMgate Ranger can help you by being your MX sans relay open 
and be ORBS/MAPS bait with relay for addresses, and allow you take 
your Imail out of DNS MX records but leave it in A records so your 
users can relay without AUTH and you hope the spammers don't find you 
non-MX Imail box cause it will still be open. I think orbs/maps only 
attack MX records, not every ip addreses in the universe.

Or, just right foot your Imail to Relay for Addresses = unhappy users 
temporarily as they learn SMTP AUTH tactics but then you're back in 
the race for good.
