ok, yours and his evidence are pretty convincing to me that there's 
something wrong between Imail and AOL.

With the Imail-delivered msgs just disappearing and given that we're 
dealing with mute AOL, I expect it's going to be very hard to figure this out.

Somebody give me an AOL address that Imail can't deliver and I'll try 
to deliver from my IMGate (postfix).
