Thomas,
Is the destination address, within the IMail system or outside of it, or
does it not make any difference (both inside and outside, get 2 copies)?
If you send to another user within that domain, IMail would normally deliver
only one copy, even if sent to the same TO and CC and BCC, addresses, so
that makes me think that a second separate message is being triggered and
sent. Are there any rules or forwards or Info Manager enabled on that users
account (the destination)? Is there an alias of the same name as that user
account?
Are the message headers, of the 2 copies, exactly the same (in particular,
the message ID and date/time). If not, then they are not the 'same' message.
The headers, might tell us more about the 'route' of each message and you
might want to include them, here.
If you send email using a POP3/IMAP4 client, this does not happen?
