I am looking at wanting to implement this feature to further lock down our servers (we have not been used as a relay yet and I don't want to be). The question is since many of our users have connectivity through services like Cox who are blocking port 25 and thereby causing our users that have Cox connections to send their mail through the Cox SMTP servers is this going to cause me any grief if I instruct our users to "fix" the settings in their mail to use SMTP Auth.

I know that the user is not using us for SMTP ut I don't want to break their sending mail through Cox etc... Also I am trying not to have to published policies. One for sites that send through us and one for sites that do not as the user will only get confused - especially if they are using a notebook and changing locations between Office (unblocked DSL) and home (blocked cable)

Thanks!
