Judging from your post I'm thinking your customers have 2 email addresses on
two fifferent servers. One @chartway.com that is pop3 and one
@email.chartway.com that is strictly web access. If that is what you intend
your dns is ok on the pop3 server but you need an A record for
email.chartway.com with it's ip address. If that's not what intend then
you're getting into mail server peering and you'll also need an MX record
for email.chartway.com.
