No, this does not mean that the mailbox is damaged! If the mailbox is
'locked' changes (like deletions or accepting new mail) cannot be completed.
It may become locked if accessed using multiple protocols (POP3, IMAP4, Web
MSG) or multiple accesses via the same protocol, and not closing the
connections completely/correctly. I'd suggest shutting down the above
services (which will close all connections and remove locks), and then start
them up again and retry the Web MSG. Certainly less damaging to the mailbox
(than deleting it!) to try this first!
