OK, so, I have been asking about this for a couple of years and these were
my first suspicions... everyone (including Ipswitch & Microsoft people)
blamed Outlook (express or otherwise)...

I hope that Ipswitch is listening to this, because this has been along time
in the waiting for it to get fixed !

Thanks you guys for finally pointing the finger to someone who might
actually fix it !

Jim

the E-mail address, and is causing the problem with the "invisible
messages".

parsed version of the E-mail address, in the format '( "user name",
"something", "username", "domain" )'. However, when there is a comma in the
user name, it appears that it chokes, and gets the username from the very
first character of the "From" address (the quote). So, it thinks the E-mail
address in this case is '"Jim
> [EMAIL PROTECTED]'.

IMail), as it has a space and a quote in it, neither of which are allowed.

would explain why all works well with the same headers using another mail
server.
