I have used IMAP extensively on IMail v6 and have not seen any such
problems. The only problems I have ever seen have been related IMAP clients
rather than IMAP server and none of these have been similar to the problem
you are having. There have been *many* fixes to all the services between
4.07 and 6.06.
If you have a spare server why not download the eval of Imail 6 and test it
out with your particular situation, I would be surprised if this doesn't fix
the issue. I believe the mailbox format should be the same between 4.07 and
6.x (??) If this is the case then a Service Agreement sounds like the best
way forward.
