Rumor has it that AOL has a secret "point" system (IE maybe you lose 1 point if you 
have no reverse DNS, 3 points if you are listed in their open relay database, etc.).

That's pretty standard to help prioritize mail.  That way, for example, a mail server 
that has a queue (spool) that is full can send out the E-mail without the bulk 
precedence first.  It's not unique to IMail.  Although it would be nice to have 
control over it, I'm sure most people would just disable it, which ruins its original 
intent.
