FYI, Declude doesn't require you to run McAfee on a separate server or use 
shared/mapped drives.

If you aren't running Declude (or other mail server virus scanning 
software), McAfee's VirusScan isn't going to do much.  It will catch web 
messaging file attachments that are uploaded, but that's about it.  McAfee 
knows that many people are willing to spend $5,000 or more for mail server 
virus scanning, so they don't allow their $20 program to decode file 
attachments.  So, it is very not likely that a desktop AV program will 
catch anything (other than the web messaging attachments) by itself.
