Aliases are in the registry regardless of where the accounts are stored.
I think I've seen some posts regarding tools that help move to Sql from
registry - check the Ipswitch helper utilities page. Don't think it is
necessarily easy.
If you are using the IPSWITCH database then accounts are also in the
registry and there are utilities for helping get the account and passwords -
again see the Ipswitch helpers page. The password is not terribly hard to
hack - do a search on google for the basic information if you can't find a
utility.
Aliases are still in Registry regardless of accounts.
Don't know about CF utilities/
I've had no special problems with Win2k except with MS SMTP in which case
you have to make sure it is also not listening on port 25. It can send on
port 25 with no problems. We're going the other way though - from Sql to
IMAIL registry.
