Find the the pop3uidl file and delete it. It's in different places with
different versions of Windows and Outlook express. Two things seem to cause
corruption of this file. One is checking the mail too often as someone else
said (this is a bad thing) and the other is having more than one mail
account setup in Outlook Express that have different "leave a copy on the
server" options checked. If you have more than one mail account setup in OE
and you're leaving a copy on the server they all must have the same options
for deleting after a set number of days or things like this start to happen
after a while. You may also have to delete the pop3uid file in the customers
mailbox on the server but this one doesn't screw up too often. I would
suspect Outlook Express first.
