I have found the problem but thanks for the replies, I must have read the
manual too quickly and didn't fully understand the terminology, as I have
done first and second line support in my time and have a lot of experience
in psychology I would guess that nobody would have guessed what I was doing
wrong because it is so obvious that no one would suspect someone would have
done it (and least of all admit to doing it !!! ).
I thought that I only needed the web directory where it was when I copied it
to the folder for the domain that needed web mail it worked fine DERRR ! (I
am blond what more of an excuse do I need ?
However does anyone know a good place for templates as I have seen people
mention them in here before.
Better go now and try to format a floppy disk by putting it in the CD rom.
Just a funny story you all might appreciate.
When Win98SE came out I bought it straight away along with a PACE solo
(external fax and voice storage modem) the Win9x drivers on the CD would not
work with win98SE so I phoned Pace tech support the woman explained,
"it is company policy to not post disks anymore the drivers are available on
the web site !"
it took me over ten minutes to get her to understand that without the
drivers I couldn't get onto the internet to get to their drivers page.
THEN THE PENNY DROPPED
" ah I understand" she said,
"well that isn't a problem give me your email address and I will mail the
to you !"
Well *&%& me I thought then after another 10 minutes she finally agreed to
post them to me.
Hope this brought some of you a smile.
Mike
