Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Imail and Exchange Server

Why do people not prefer to answer on the list?
Mark's question is clear to Walt as he admits there are "lots of correct answers".
Then even if Walt feels shy about helping on the list, he can mail directly to Mark.
Why does Mark have to specially contact Walt "off the list"?
Does Walt need his Credit Card no. or Soc sec no before offering the help?

Walt replies:

The questions have little to do with IMail, but much to do with Exchange misconceptions.  Walt had no idea of who was interested in the Exchange discussion.  As it is, three different individuals wrote to my work address.  Exchange is a totally different animal than IMail, I am running a large Exchange system at work and a smaller IMail system for own business.  I will probably switch all to Exchange. I did not want my appreciation for Exchange to seem like drum beating on a competitors list.

Sorry to have offended anyone...   If you are just beginning to learn about Exchange start here:

The offer still stands.
