I'm surprised that Network Solutions allows the other registrars access to
the WHOIS data (rather than just a "yes/no" as to whether or not the domain
is available). I'll bet the registrar is either paying big bucks for that
WHOIS data, or NS will be changing things so that they can't get it anymore.
