In this case they do not need to be the same version. Install IMail 7 (to the same location as the old server) Move the Data (not the binaries) to the new server (in the same location as before) then use Regedit to export the IMail/Domain Keys and import them on the new server Start up the services and you should be all set (don't forget to move the IP Addresses)
