Although the entry in the event log doesn't seem to be sent correctly, the 
"(000002f4) logoff for milan R:0, D:0, P:0" is a standard message seen in 
the log files whenever someone logs off of POP3.

Do you have POP3 set to "App Log"?  That would explain the entries.
