As far as 3Com, has anyone used 3C980CTXM This is the "3Com ETHERLINK SERVER 10/100 PCI NETWORK INTERFACE CARD"
I don't have the URL on 3Com, but here's the link with specs at Buy.com: http://www.us.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10240549 How does this perform compared to the 3C905B (which we have used for 4 years without a failure)? FWIW, we've also used Linksys cards without any problems on some machines (we ran out and had a 20 pack laying around... remember when the $ was flowing and everyone over-ordered hardware?)
