In imail 7.06, I would like to cause the host-alias rather than the root
name to appear in the reply and from addresses of a list distribution
message (with reply to list enabled).

Is there a way to cause the host-alias name to appear in that possition?
The relivant MX records for domain.nam point to an address which is bound to
the root (seahorse.fsr.com);

I would like to have "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" appear rather than
seahorse.fsr.com..

I've got some DNS analysis software to be tests and I need some domains
to
test it on.

So if you want your domains tested free for a 2 or 3 days, send me your
list of domains, off-list of course to my email address.

You'll get 1 or 2 reports per day, per domain. I'll also need an email
address to forward the reports to. There are Full, Changes, and Error
reports.

The domain testing is free, the domain fixing isn't! :))

Andre,

If you are using ASP, we have both a straight add/remove and a "verify" =
add/remove asp script on our member's area: =
http://globalweb.net/members/support/email/listserver/listadd-options.asp=

both of these assume you have an alias setup for add and one for remove =
(can be adjusted for subject line add/remove)

Are there anyway to create listserver in IMail v6.06 without using
"IMail Administrator" or the web interfaces?

Thanks,

As some of the info is stored in the registry you _must_ use one or the
other. Unless you are good with Reg scripts of course.

First of all, why do you want to use SQL instead of Imail's default
database? The default database is much, much faster.

Second, AFAIK, you can use any rev of SQL 2K, if you have a compelling
reason to use that over the default database. But why not use the
latest patches? I don't really understand this part of the question.

Third, you only need to license one connection to the database.

Third, you don't need to use SQL 2K at all--you can actually use MSDE,
which is free.

Sandy
