Check this out: http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,52174,00.html Though I share some of your suspicions of a plain old IMAILSRV malfunction, but I've *never* seen anything this crazy happen with an Imail-hosted list. I'm inclined to believe the root problem is on an infected or otherwise malfunctioning client, probably within Ipswitch.
