Guy,

I would have to say that analogy is a bit flawed. I WOULD blame the
post office if they were copying my mail, and delivering it twice.
Anyway, back to the point...

>From my personal experience, and monitoring this list over the past few
months, there is a problem that is specific to Imail/POP3, and not due
to mailbox/pst size. I have seen users with 1 gig .pst files that used
other mail systems, and when moving to Imail, they begin to get dupes.
Tell me how that's not an Imail issue?

Thanks

Jason

Jason,

I don't wish to sound confrontational but do you have any evidence to
support your claim? Is IMail's implementatioon of POP3 non-RFC
compliant?

Don Schreiner -- see below -- and many others on this list agree that
dealing with huge mailboxes, be they .PST or .MBX, is asking for
trouble. If I may offer a dumb analogy, imagine that your snail mailbox
is holding 250 MB of data in the form of letters, invoices and what not.
Would you blame the U.S. Postal Service for problems such as your box
coming undone and crashing to the ground? <g>

No flames please!

Guy
