The POP3 log file shows double connection each time the user connects. For
example

I am starting to suspect that in this case, customer's Outlook is screwed
up.



Re: messages being accepted by the server and not delivered to user's
mailbox:

The logs just show that SMTP accepted the message and put it in the queue
file. No further details.

Get ticked off at yourself for not looking in the log files to see what's 
really going on vs what the users claim.  could be the same, could be 
different.  find out by looking.

by the way, another HUGE advantage of IMGate is the superior mail logging, 
and, when necessary, incredible debug log tracing, when trying to track 
down these kinds of "problems" and user claims.

ie, when a message gets deferred, the reason is logged, not just "message 
queued".
