The "R:2" means that 2 messages were retrieved by the POP3 client, the
"D:0" means that no messages were deleted. I'm not sure about the P:0
("purged", perhaps, which would be useful in IMAP logs?). The hex number
is the process identifier, so you can see which log file entries are
connected with which other ones.
