as far as i know the domain should be named mail.newdomain.com and the
host alias as newdomain.com. the IP for any additional domain should be
virtual, only the main host is set to the real IP

Help!!!

I'm using version 7.05 - 2001.11.30.9
On Windows 2000 Server

Last night, I created a new domain (newdomain.com) with Host Alias
(mail.newdomain.com). For some reason, iMail created another separate
host
entry mail.newdomain.com in addition to newdomain.com with same info.
And then
it linked those two hosts to my main host mylocal.com. mylocal was
working
fine, but now its ipaddress has somehow changed to same as newdomain.com
and
mail.newdomain.com.

I've tried deleting one, and when refreshed it comes right back. I've
deleted
all three, trying to start over, and again, they come right back. I
also
removed the IP address from the network configuration, but the IP
address does
not seem to go away within iMail.

Any hope???
