my DNS is configured with "domain.net", and within this I have aliases
for websites, etc. among these aliases I have "mail", pointing to the
mail-server machine. so my mail host is mail.domain.net

anyway, I have encountered the same problem (or similar) when I assigned
in the IMail settings the same IP for the localhost and then for another
new host. as soon as I let the IP only for the localhost and for all
other I put "virtual" the problem was solved. now I have for the primary
host the real IP of the machine (and the DNS pointing to this) and for
all the other hosts I have something like "$virtual001", "$virtual002"
and so on

Hope to help

Bogdan

That depends on your DNS configuration.

But my immediate problem is to be able to unlink those crosslinked
hosts.
Because it's not letting me delete those three hosts. After deleting
and when
refreshed, they come back. So I am currently unable to add any host.
