Scott,

All of my users use POP3 accounts and none of them have "Leave copy of
e-mail on server". I made sure to set the check interval to 10 minutes.
The user that received the duplicates today happened on a fresh boot. (The
PC was off for a week while she was on vacation.)

Is it really? How did you get that from Edison's original posts or Edison's
second?

This is a very different issue than the one being discussed.

The one being discussed is where multiple copies of a mailing list E-mail
are received (at the same time). This can be caused by forwarding, for
example.

Your issue seems to be where every so often Outlook will download all the
messages that are stored on the server. That is a POP3 issue, where
Outlook and IMail are out of sync. There doesn't seem to be any proof as
to whether this is an IMail issue or an Outlook issue, but the only
solution is to not store the E-mails on the server.
