Hi guys..

One question-- have you checked your web messaging when this happens?

We have the same problem on:

- NT 4.0
- IMail 7.13

When this happens our web messaging gets all screwed up. The page looks
all scrambled. We reboot and it works fine. We were told every time
that it will be fixed in the next release.

Our solution (currently): We have set a schedule for a 12:00 midnight
reboot daily and that has fixed the problem. When we stop this - it
goes for about 4 or 5 days and then all gets screwed up again.

So I am curious if your web messaging looks OK when this happens.

Regards,
Kami

Mark -

This is currently happening to me as well. I have not been able to
figure out why.

I have to reboot my server about every 3 days to clear out the problem.
I have opened many tickets with IPSWITCH, and followed all of their
recomendations but none of them have worked.

First I was told it was a DNS issue (not so)

Then I was told that it could be a hung message in the que (not so)

Then I was told I had to upgrade to 7.13 (I did - problem still exists)

Would love to find a solution to this.

Hey All,

I'm not sure if this is a problem with iMail or Windows, but I guess
this is a good place to ask :-)

About a week after our server reboots, it ceases to be able to send
outgoing mail. It looks like every outgoing connection to any IP on
port 25 is blocked (even to localhost 25). I've tried using telnet to
connect to a remote machine as well as localhost on port 25 and in both
occasions I get an error message saying that the remove machine
"actively refused the connection". After the server is rebooted, it all
works again.

The first time this happened was a little over a week ago. I rebooted
and it started working again, so I figured it was just a fluke. It
happened again last night, however, so it's starting to concern me. Has
anyone ever seen this before? know how to fix it?

Thanks,
-Mark
