I had ask a question here once before similuar to what you have, except I ask about if.......Yes, that is the safest way. "Relay for Addresses" is the other safe option, which is just as safe as "No Mail Relay" *if* you only enter safe IP addresses (ones you can trust completely).

and Spamming there mess. This to me is the saffest way.
