Well, we've been trying for a couple of weeks to work with Declude... What a pain in the *%@! Is there anything out there that you can recommend that will work better with our Imail server for filtering all of this junk mail? Perhaps something with a better user interface, that can be used to filter on the server-wide level, with the capability to make acceptions and additions per user? Perhaps event a User's self-configurable option?
I've had two engineers here spending alot of time with this product. They are both considerably intelligent and experienced, yet they have had nothing but trouble. We've played with a per-user package called IHateSpam before we tried the declude solution. It wass very User friendly and worked right out of the box. The down side was that it only worked with Outlook (not even Outlook Express), and was configured for each individual on their systems...no centralized database. We would prefer something that was more centralized...giving more control to the engineers. Dennis T. Kemp II (Tom) Program Manager MCSE/CNA/A+ Control Concepts, Inc.
