I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the browser is not the problem or part of it. When you are accessing other accounts using a given workstation and browser, you are accessing other mailboxes (main.mbx) that contain e-mails with attachments which may or may not have been "correctly" saved in the other accounts' mailboxes because the users of those other accounts used an incompatible browser, possibly one not listed in the file <Drive:>\IMail\Web\Browser.cap. So, the .MBX files may have something to do with the Web interface when viewed on your machine. As R. Scott Perry mentioned, an e-mail may or may not be properly recognized by IWEBMSG and once it is saved (incorrectly) in a .MBX file, anyone accessing the account which has this "corrupted" .MBX file will not be able to have messages with attachments displayed properly even though you happen to be using a compatible browser.
