I've always had the impression that most of the members on this forum prefer
POP3, but we mostly use IMAP. My question is: what is the practical
capacity limitation of IMAP for clients using Outlook Express 5.5 or 6? I'm
not much worried about our server - it's reasonably fast, with lots of RAM,
and fast, high-capacity hard drives. However, it seems to me that OE
clients can have problems synchronizing the indices for IMAP folders with
the server.

Presonally, I have about 300 MB in my mailbox, without problems. How far
can I reasonably push this? Does it matter for a client with dial-up
access?

Thanks,

Ben
