good to know, however I like the non-repudiation that comes with authentication.
Authentication does not beat digital signatures but it is better than nothing.
I like to know that when mail is sent by someone and it originated on my server, then
it is indeed sent by that person.
Sometimes it does not have to be mass-mailing spam that would get one in trouble with
blacklists. There are some smartasses out there that send one off hatemail or
defamation type messages for example that Hijack probably won't catch.
Also when there are many various customer domains on the same server, you have to
protect them from each other as well as protect yourself from them.

We use http://www.dnsstuff.com with Declude to search all of em
regularly and we only have one after all these years, BlarsBL and even
that is because we are on Qwest, not because of any reported abuse
from our system. This guy blocks most whole providers, except Dutch
ones, or so he tells us. With his list you won't get much spam, but
not much of anything else either... <g>
