In order to have multiple servers that are sending to the mail server such
as web hosting machines that use Perl scripts, CFMail, ASPMail or SMTP you
have to go in SMTP Security and use Relay mail for addresses tab and then
input your servers that are within your system. (excluding the mail server
IP) Then check only the following Allow remote mail, Allow remote view, auto
deny, and Disable SMTP VRFY.
All others keep unchecked.
Seeing as you are now on a relay list you then have to get off of the list.
Go to http://mail-abuse.org/rss and click on "Please remove my server from
the list" You will be taken to a page that asks you to put in the IP address
so you can see when the last test was. You can then fill out a form to ask
to be removed. It takes between 2 and 3 days to get confirmation that they
have taken you off of the list. In the meantime you will not be allowed to
send email to at least the following server types, AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Time
Warner (Road Runner) MSN and more.
When a user wants to send mail from a remote server they will have to check
that my server requires authentication or use their
dialup/DSN/Cable/Satellite SMTP outbound setting. You will also find that
Earthlink customers will have to use the mail.earthlink.com outbound SMTP
address as they do not allow their users to use any other SMTP outbound
other than their own.
Good luck in getting this cleaned up.

you will have the trace of their AUTH in the Imail logs and can easily
convict them of abuse and bannish onto the next camel caravan to Libya. :))

Good one Len! - Personally, I report ALL attempts to the holders of the IP
addresses. There are a lot of ex-spammers in Libya these days. ;o)
