Hi,

We have just done this (8 is great!)

The easiest thing to do is put the spam controls on but rather than delete
the mails get Imail to insert X headers. This way you can monitor how
effective it is without losing any mail or the clients seeing anything
different.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Upgrade to 8 with no SPAM settings, same web
templates

Getting ready to upgrade from IMail6 to 8, want the first step to be as
transparent as possible. We currently have no SPAM software of any kind, and
use customer web pages for webmail.

What do we need to do upon the installation of version 8 that will turn off
all SPAM control and leave our current web templates in place... don't want
to change a thing until after v8 is in place and running. Is SPAM control ON
by default, and what steps need to take to turn it OFF before using it? And
how do we not lose our web pages?

Will add the new features later, just want to be down as little time as
possible during installation phase.

Thanks!
