Hi Scott
I did check, did not see anything. There were no bhl's installed. I had to
enter them. The only thing that was turned on was the Statistical Filtering
and Phrase Filters(empty). Just double checked the root account. Did I miss
something?

Ouch -- check your "root-bulk" folder.  IMail v8 *does* have anti-spam
enabled by default (unless they have changed since the original release).
