I'm sure that it did but the discussion was about Dave Strzemienski's problems with Webmail's speed -- as the subject line indicates -- and huge mailboxes. Even with no antivirus software running (just for the sake of argument), Dave's speed problem is firmly rooted in allowing monster-sized mailboxes, as I and others mentioned. Still, you have a point in being careful with running antivirus software on a mail server when such software is not designed for this purpose.
