Hi Roger, We have long experienced the same problem trying to admin a large (50k user) list from the web interface. We obviously do not admin it at all from the web anymore :) I feel your pain. We are able to admin smaller lists (100 users +/-) no problem over the web. That whole larger hard drive argument is ridiculous. We have the same ultra wide SCSI setup with baracudas ur talking about. Not to mention the machine these are on has virtually NO load in terms of user access. Just 1 more reason to use another list server...<sigh>

A product up-grade on an exact same machine should not be 8000% slower... The only here change was the upgrade except we actually went from 2.4 GB processors to 2.8GB processors. Everything else is fine, but web mail crawls. This is also with the 'fast' Classic WebMail templates. Ipswitch says a large new hard disk will fix this.
