People shouldn't be conducting business-critical communications via email, 
at least not without some kind of end-to-end verification, such as "as soon 
as you receive this mail, please confirm receipt by email or telephone", etc.

I searched my logs, no "unknown users" rejects for any SMTPD.
That's normal with nobody@ active.

Send from a remote server to one of these dead accounts, with and without 
the nobody alias active, and see what happens.

With nobody alias, all mail will be accepted, and then perhaps caught by 
your spam rules.

Without a nobody alias, mail to unknown users should be rejected by STMPD 
at the envelope stage.
