When the problem occurs and I run a netstat -an it
does NOT show

Active Connections

 Proto Local Address Foreign Address
State
 TCP 0.0.0.0:25 0.0.0.0:0
LISTENING

So I am assuming what you had said about showing
possible SMTP/SMTPD thread saturation, meaning no more

listening
(SMTPD) or delivery (SMTP) threads available is what
is occuring. What can I do to correct this? I am
using a good kill file, I have all of the spam filters
correct, I have relay for local addresses enabled, I
have check to ensure no virus or other program is
running. The resource usage on all processes are low,
and I am running no other services on this machine at
this time.

I have read the ipswitch article
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19980302-ES01.htm

and am under the assumption this would possibly
correct this but I am not forsure. Can anyone help
shed more light on this form me.

Thank you

Greg
